Paua

Tegin mõni aeg tagasi tellimusel komplekti kõrvarõngaste ja keega, kus kasutasin paua helmeid. Need on pärit Uus- Meremaalt, Queenstownist. Sealsetest vetest tuuakse sügavalt ookeanist neid suuri karpe. Lihvides paljastub sinakas, rohekas, lillakas muster, mis helgib tugevalt. Uus- Meremaal olid kõik suveniiripoed pauast ehteid täis. Ehetes kasutasin ka mageveepärleid ja hõbetatud traati.


This is a set consisting of earrings and a necklace. It is a special order, where I used paua beads. They are from New Zealand, Queenstown. These big shells are brought from the debths of the ocean nearby. When polished, the green-blue-purple pattern exposes. It shines a lot. All the souvenir shops in New Zealand are full of paua jewelry. In the set I also used freshwater pearls and silver plated wire.
